At The Sand Yard we stock various types of mulch and woodchips, all of which offer a world of benefits that not only elevate your landscape aesthetically but have a functional purpose too.
Due to how thick and dense mulch and woodchip is, all our products provide a protective layer that helps to retain moisture within the soil, controlling temperatures and preventing your plants from drying out quickly. Not only do they protect your plant roots, but they are great weed suppressants and some even act as natural deterrents. A 50-100mm thickness should be spread for the mulch or woodchip to be most effective.
